Message from Principal

Professor Nick Papé

Principal

Welcome to London Churchill College (LCC),

At LCC, our primary focus is to provide students with a rewarding and enriching experience throughout their academic journey. We continually enhance our facilities and resources, ensuring they meet the needs of all our students. Our campus locations, including our headquarters Barclay Hall in Upton Park, Avicenna House and King’s House in Barking, have all been recently refurbished to a high standard, creating environments that are both stimulating and conducive to learning.

Our educational offering, particularly the Higher National Diploma (HND) courses, provides students with an excellent opportunity to graduate with a valuable qualification. These courses are complemented by our strong connections with local industry and businesses, offering further opportunities for students to prepare for their future careers.

We are proud to welcome applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds, including school leavers, adults returning to education and those in employment who wish to formalise their skills. Our campuses are fully accessible, enabling those with disabilities to study comfortably and our staff receive ongoing training to ensure we continue to meet the needs of all students.

LCC is committed to helping students achieve their potential in both graduate employment and career progression within the local community. As an integral part of the community, we encourage broad participation in our programmes and aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to make meaningful contributions to society upon graduation.

Student success at London Churchill College is built on dedication and commitment to their studies. It is well-proven that high attendance plays a key role in academic achievement and we strongly encourage students to engage fully with their learning, whether online or on campus. Our tutors create an engaging and supportive environment, maintaining high academic standards to help students achieve their best.

As Principal, I am always available to meet with students to discuss any aspect of their life at LCC. I also look forward to welcoming student representatives to committee and board meetings.

Studying at LCC can truly be a life-changing opportunity. I wish all our students every success in their academic endeavours and future careers.
